The Diversity Committee of the Women’s Center Advisory Board acknowledged Dr. Bandana Purkayastha, Dr. Xae, Alicia Reyes, and Ms. Aliza Wilder for their outstanding contributions to the University of Connecticut community at their annual Women of Color Recognition Awards Banquet on Tuesday, April 20, 2004. The event was attended by an audience of students, faculty, and staff and featured a talk by Ms. Dana McGee J.D., Director of the Office of Diversity and Equity.
