Diversity
at the University of Connecticut embraces racial and ethnic minorities,
women, and people with disabilities, individuals of diverse sexual
orientations, and individuals of varying social and economic groups.
As a public university, we are dedicated to creating an academic
environment that celebrates the rich diversity of our campus and
the communities we serve. This section of diversity-web maps programs
and resources available across campus that contributes to achieving
that goal. The variety and range of the programs suggest how much

Diversity Offices at UConn plan and implement programs, activities,
and workshops for students that encourage the development of intercultural
